South Puget Sound:  A New Year

2007 was a great year for The South Sound Chapter, with a growing membership, engaging monthly programs, and strong progress on our "Beyond Waste" grant from the Department of Ecology.  Our four standing committees are carrying out an ambitious strategic plan, and looking to 2008 with great expectations. 

We will soon announce our Education Program for 2008.  

Our Chapter is growing because people like YOU get involved.  There are lots of fun and meaningful ways to make yourself known in the Guild.  Get in touch with our President or contact one of the Four Committees.  These are:

2. Events and Education
3. Marketing
4. Grants

Membership meetings are once a month, and usually occur on the third Wednesday of each month.  Upcoming meeting details are posted on the Events Calendar; we also share information about Partners' Events as time and space allow.  Click here to submit an event.

Steering Committee Meetings

Members are invited to attend and give input at our Steering Committee Meetings - the first Monday of each month, except when it conflicts with a National Holiday.  They are held at 311 9th Avenue from 6pm-8pm.  Upcoming Meeting dates:

Green Drinks
First Wednesday of the Month

5:30 - 7:30 pm, Location varies

Informal, unstructured opportunity to meet with others interested in green sustainable practices as it applies to a broad range of issues.  Come join us for a "green" drink.
