CODE INNOVATIONS DATABASE – 2016 REGIONAL EXPANSION PLAN RELEASED

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Nov 10, 2015

The Northwest EcoBuilding Guild earlier this year, adopted and released their 3-year regional expansion plan for the Code Innovations Database (2016-2018). Click here to download the PDF [CIDB PhaseIV-Plan.V2.0.pdf].  The vision is to expand from a successful pilot project into a regional resource of national significance. The goal is to Make it Easier to Build Green by putting permitting precedent and green codes information into the hands of every code official in the Pacific Northwest, and within reach of architects and builders nationwide.

Beginning next year, we will:

  • Add hundreds more case studies on successful innovative projects
  • Add profiles of “next-generation” green building codes and collaborative compliance initiatives, and other new features
  • Engage partnerships with public and professional organizations to rapidly expand our reach to a regional / national audience
  • Train, educate and advocate at multiple levels to accelerate adoption of green building practices

The Guild is seeking partners, Champions and funders to take this successful pilot project to the next level as the go-to-resource for permitting precedent for green building innovations.  Are you one of them?  Get in touch!!
