Hello World!  Please Give so we can empower innovators!

You’re one of thousands of people in private and public sectors who know the value of innovation.

Green Building innovators are the R&D Department for tomorrow’s building industry, pushing the envelope with new designs, materials and technology that have made healthy, sustainable, energy efficient buildings more accessible than ever.

Yet these innovators still face an uphill climb and regulatory hurdles that can slow or even stop their best ideas from being adopted more broadly.

The Code Innovations Database

The Code Innovations Database needs your support to empower these innovators and make it easier to build green.  We are sharing their solutions and valuable data from 20+ years of pioneering work, so others can follow in their footsteps.

Take a Tour of the Database.

We are calling on our community to step up with generous donations,

You can also Underwrite a Gem of Innovation, and we'll publish it as a case study!

Your support will help us expand our successful education platform to a national resource, so we can put successful permitting precedents into the hands of every code official in the Northwest, and builders nationwide.

Funds will go toward our regional expansion plan in 2016 to:

  • Publish hundreds more case studies of successful innovative projects
  • Add profiles on innovative green building codes, initiatives and innovators
  • Educate and advocate for policy innovation at multiple levels

Please watch our video and make a generous donation toward our goal!  You can also help by sharing & retweeting our Social Media posts, and joining our Team as a fundraiser! All donations are tax deductible; the Guild is a 501c3 non-profit organization and we will send you an official letter acknowledging your contribution!

Give us your email to receive regular updates throughout the campaign.

About Crowdrise:

Our campaign is on one of the most exciting new fundraising platforms – Crowdrise.com – founded by legendary actor and green building advocate Ed Norton.  By good fortune our plans coincided with their “$250,000 Giving Tower Holiday Challenge" Nov. 24 - Jan 7, 2016.

Ed Norton Crowdrise Code InnovationsDid you know that Ed Norton is on the Board of Enterprise Community Partners, a green building organization for low-income people in Washington DC?  He has testified in Congress about the urgent need for more healthy efficient housing for low-income Americans, and has raised millions for non-profits with inspiring projects through his innovative platform Crowdrise.com.

Online Payment Security on Crowdrise.com

Crowdrise payments go through NetworkforGood.org a nonprofit that makes it easy and safe for donors to support any charity, with payment processed through WePay.com, a merchant processor in Palo Alto CA that is certified PCI Level 1 Compliant (that's the best).

If you’d rather not use a credit card online, you can always send us a check instead and we’ll log it as an “offline donation” toward the campaign.  If you choose that option, please email Chris and let him know so we can publicly acknowledge you!
