Windows are a dynamic and critical piece of a building’s total design intention to create beauty, efficiency, performance, function and comfort. When installed properly windows are an important part of the efficiency of the whole building.  Is one type of window better than others to meet the goals of a project?  What windows are most efficient?  What are the best practices to integrate the installation into the surrounding wall system?  How can we reduce thermal bridging at window installations to improve the overall performance of the building?

Join us for a great learning event.  Bring your stories and your questions.  Come early, stay late for a little conversation, and enjoy the snacks and refreshment.

This is the second event of this year’s series focused on best practices for sustainable building.  The Guild’s 2014 education line-up arose from the many responses we received from Guild members survey responses at the 2013 10 x 10 x 10 SLAM.  These education sessions provide technical instruction, best practices for installation and new product presentations given by insightful and inspirational speakers. At January's meeting the session reached capacity and received rave reviews by attendees!
