Want to learn more about how you can promote the sustainability of our regional forest and wood resources in a building project?  Diane Moody, Northwest Program Manager for Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) and owner of Wild Thyme Farm will present several helpful options. The FSC NW regional manager will provide an overview on FSC practices and markets; including wood sourcing, distribution, cost and social responsibility. Wild Thyme owner, John Henrikson--a local FSC certified landowner and vendor-- will provide an inside perspective of the process.  The two will also cover proposed changes to LEED v2012 and how FSC compares to other certification systems in promoting sustainability of regional resources.
