In just 90 minutes, learn how to do an energy simulation of a single family house using Energy Gauge USA, a DOE 2.1 hourly software tool. Attendees may just observe, but are highly encouraged to bring laptops (PC only) to learn by doing, following step by step instructions.
After a brief overview of energy simulation tools and benefits, the majority of the session will be spent simulating a simple house. The session will conclude with calculated comparisons of different energy saving strategies. Attendees should then be able to use this simulation software on projects back at their offices or job sites.
