Local Elm Stairway at Clearwater Commons
A unique approach to a stairway system at Clearwater Commons, a deep green cohousing project in Bothell, WA.
Made from a windfall salvaged Elm log/tree in Bellingham, as well as maple & walnut from Seattle. Recycled cold-rold steel baluster rods, fabricated at a Seattle-based, family-run machine shop.
Built with hand cut dovetail and mortise and tennon joinery.
Locally built, with locally grown & reclaimed materials.
