Unique Northwest / Norwegian influenced, sculptural design.

While ships are passing in the night, this stairway is the new centerpiece of a beautiful home on Lake Washington in Seattle.

The curvature of the solid Sapele stringers, gripping the local white oak treads as they pierce through a maze of artistically formed structural members.

A continuous hand carved one piece inner handrail guides your hand as you walk down the clean lined path way from one floor to the next.

All the pieces are fit with precision joinery and made of solid local and sustainably imported woods.

I hope the photos allow you to enjoy the experience.
