The Northwest EcoBuilding Guild is not alone in working for environmental sustainability in the Northwest. Many of our members are also members of these amazing organizations.

Passive House Northwest

A group of Certified Passive House Consultants and other individuals and organizations whose goal it is to promote highly energy efficient construction through implementation of the Passive House standard.

Built Green Washington

This nonprofit cooperative represents Built Green programs throughout WA State, including Built Green of King & Snohomish Counties, which have been serving as a resource for Washington homebuilders and homeowners since 1996 and are among the most respected local green building programs in the nation.

Home Performance Washington

An association of Washington State businesses offering whole house energy efficiency, comfort, and indoor air quality solutions.

Cascadia Green Building Council

The Cascadia Region Green Building Council is one of three original chapters of the U.S. Green Building Council, and serves its members by helping the U.S. and Canada Green Building Councils meet their goals in the Pacific Northwest.

American Solar Energy Society

Established in 1954, the nonprofit American Solar Energy Society (ASES) is the nation's leading association of solar professionals & advocates. Their mission is to inspire an era of energy innovation and speed the transition to a sustainable energy economy.  Act locally...chapters in the Northwest include Solar Washington, Solar Oregon, and the Idaho Renewable Energy Association.

Northwest Energy Efficiency Alliance

The Northwest Energy Efficiency Alliance (NEEA) is a non-profit organization funded by Northwest utilities, the Bonneville Power Administration and the Energy Trust of Oregon which works to accelerate the market adoption of energy-efficient products, technologies and practices within homes, business and industry.

SustainableWorks

SustainableWorks is a community-based non-profit general contractor dedicated to helping Washington residents save energy and reduce their carbon footprint all while creating quality green jobs. SustainableWorks is a proud partner in the Community Power Works project.

Transition United States

Provides inspiration, networking, and training for Transition Initiatives across the United States, working in close partnership with the Transition Network , a UK based organization that supports the international Transition Movement as a whole.

NW Earth Institute

The Northwest Earth Institute (NWEI) is a national leader in the development of innovative programs that empower individuals and organizations to transform culture toward a sustainable and enriching future. NWEI's hallmark program is a series of discussion courses available for small groups anywhere in North America.
