Effective April 22, 2010 Federal Law requires all types of contractors, tradespersons and property managers to be registered with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and to be certified by taking the mandatory Renovation, Repair & Painting (RRP) Certification Training course. This 8 hour course trains contractors how to work safely in housing with lead-based paint and comply with EPA's RRP Rule and HUD's Lead Safe Housing Rule.
