Warm Window Workshop Series:

Home EmPOWERment: Warming Homes and Hearts

Our “warm home” window insert workshops are not just about warming people’s homes. This was evident last Fall when our congregation hosted Warm Window workshops for Joseph Becker of Ion EcoBuilding in collaboration with the Northwest EcoBuilding Guild. The City of Olympia funded the program to provide weatherization assistance for low-income households. The workshops offer opportunities for people to learn new skills, help one another, and develop a sense of accomplishment and community.  Joseph’s Home EmPOWERment idea was aptly named.  People came away feeling great and grateful!  Learn more…
