Get Involved!
Meet like-minded people involved with or interested in Seattle's flourishing green building community, and have a lot of fun while you're at it!
Booth Events and Workshops
Volunteering at the Guild's booth is one of the funnest and most rewarding ways to volunteer with our chapter. We have booths at over a dozen events every year where we promote our organization and green building, and have exciting, interactive displays and workshops. These events are great opportunities to talk with the general public about green building. Contact Jay Lazerwitz, Booth Chair, tabling@cps.ecobuilding.org, to find out how you can participate!
10x10x10 Green Building Slam
Meet some new people, network, and have more FUN! This year marks our 10th Anniversary and we want to make it the best one yet. Join one of our subcommittees for marketing, sponsorship, raffles, jury/selection and submissions. To get involved, email Sonia and Angie at 2756500@gmail.com.

Communications and Marketing
This is the team that issues the newsletters, updates the website, creates flyers/brochures, posts on Facebook and other social media, etc. We are also in the process of defining communications guidelines and creating a marketing plan. If you would like to help with any of the above, please contact Grace at president@cps.ecobuilding.org.
Membership
Do you like meeting and connecting with fellow members? This is the team that helps to welcome new members, connect current members, and reach out to members in general. If you would like to be involved with this, please contact Grace at president@cps.ecobuilding.org.
Green Home Tour
Our second Green Home Tour in April 2012 was another huge succes! The Seattle Green Home Tour was inaugurated in 2011 and was tremendously successful. To be a part of this wonderful team, contact Cate O'dahl at greenhometour@ecobuilding.org.

Education
Our monthly educational meetings consist of one or two speakers and a broad range of topics. This committee decides which exciting topics to pursue every year and gets to seek out and coordinate with the speakers.
We are looking for help to develop an education meeting sponsorship program. The idea is to utilize our monthly meetings as an opportunity to bring in vendors that may be relevant to a meeting topic as a means to raise additional chapter revenue. This additional revenue will allow us to become more involved in public outreach by participating in additional public events. For more info, contact Wayne Apostolik, Education Chair, at education@cps.ecobuilding.org.
Steering Committee
The Steering Committee is like the Board for the local chapter. We have a lot of fun while doing a lot of work. We meet the second Thursday of every month in Seattle. If you would like to attend a Steering Committee meeting or if you would like to learn more about what we do, please contact Grace at president@cps.ecobuilding.org.

Phinney Neighborhood Center Work/Trade
In exchange for a very low rental cost for the room where we have our montly educational meetings, we provide professional skills and labor for the Phinney Neighborhood Center to help maintain their facility. If you would like to do construction work for this work/trade, please contact Justin, Work-Trade Coordinator, at worktrade@cps.ecobuilding.org.
