Research Intern

Sustainable Industries is a leading source of news and analysis related to sustainable business, for the business community. We seek an intern to help us bolster our case study library by conducting background research on leading case studies and white papers related to energy efficiency, green building, cause marketing, employee engagement, systems thinking and other sustainable business topics.

Position is virtual and requires 5-10 hours of work per week over 6 weeks.

Benefits to the successful candidate

Position will give the successful candidate inside access to the world of online media and the growing field of sustainable business including new connections/contacts with dynamic players in the sustainable business world.

Candidate will also be fully credited as expert curator of the site, with credit visible to thousands of global business leaders.

The ideal candidate

The ideal candidate is a current college or masters student with coursework completed in Business, Ethics, Sustainability, Environment, English, Journalism or similar with a strong research background. Since the position is virtual, you must be a self-starter who is comfortable communicating by phone and email, with extensive online research experience.
