A dynamic, collaborative partnership between Northwest EcoBuilding Guild and South Seattle Community College is bringing this exciting new program to our community. 20/20 Home Refit Challenge

The Guild has partnered with Built Green King/Snohomish, Home Performance WA, and Puget Sound Cooperative Credit Union to challenge the Puget Sound community to retrofit 20,000 homes by 2020. This critical challenge represents our greatest opportunity to save resources and improve energy performance by at least 20% (test in - test out) in existing homes.

Recycled Products Summits

Ready to be replicated, in 2011 the Guild launched the Glass Aggregate Summit. Spearheaded in Thurston County, this first of its kind summit educated permit officers and construction professionals across Washington State on how glass aggregate can be used by the construction trades and established a formula for future events.

Mother Earth News Sustainability Fair

In 2011 internationally recognized Mother Earth News hosted their first sustainability fair in Washington State. The Guild stepped up to make this one of our largest public education outreach efforts yet, including a wide variety of speakers and hands-on workshops. We plan to remain deeply involved with this annual event at a regional level for many years to come.
