Can someone explain the difference between a MERV filter and a HEPA filter? And what’s the deal with the MERV rating #s?

Active Pure is the primary component of air scrubbers that claim to purify the air in your home without emitting ozone. Ozone is known to cause lung irritation in some people. Air scrubbers with Active Pure can be installed in your existing HVAC ventilation system in under an hour at a cost of less than $1500.

Debra Birx has joined Active Pure as a spokesperson. Because of her stature in public health, she lends enormous credibility to the company. Here is a short interview from her in her spokes person role.
