The Northwest Green Home Tour is an annual educational event, open to the public, that showcases local, sustainable, and green new homes, remodels, and energy retrofits in the Puget Sound area.
The NWGHT provides an opportunity for members of the community to learn about sustainable building practices from the people and businesses that support it, including builders, contractors, suppliers, and green homeowners. It also serves as a way for building professionals to engage with the general public.

That’s all there is to it: the Green Building Slam. Learn about 10 innovative, sustainable, high-performance “green” buildings that push the envelope in our built environment. Projects range from residential to multi-family to mixed-use developments in the Pacific NW. This event typically attracts architects, builders, homeowners, energy efficiency experts, real estate professionals, interior designers, and other eco-conscious people.
Join a panel of speakers presenting on topics surrounding multifamily housing in the Pacific NW.
Past topics have included:
- Policies and programs addressing multifamily housing affordability, equity, and accessibility.
- Strategies and case studies addressing decarbonization of building materials and systems for multifamily buildings.
- Best practices for optimizing indoor air quality and occupant comfort in multifamily buildings.
